In the Naryn region, in the Kochkor district, the issue of inflated meat prices has been raised. Although the official price is set at 640 soms, in some meat shops it exceeds 700 soms. The deputy akim of the district, Erkin Chekirbaev, reported this during a meeting of the district state administration.

Chekirbaev noted that there are between 7 and 8 shops selling meat in the village of Kochkor. "Prices must correspond to the established 640 soms. We need to ensure that sales are conducted at this price. After inspections, some sellers raise prices again," he explained.

During the meeting, it was proposed to create a special commission to monitor prices in meat shops. If necessary, based on the results of inspections, the issue of closing violators may be considered. There was also an idea to install surveillance systems, as in several shops meat is sold for 700-750 soms.

Ruslan Saparbeckov, the deputy representative of the president in the Naryn region, noted that the rise in prices is causing dissatisfaction among the population. He suggested not to limit actions to warnings only, but to create pavilions with affordable meat. The ayil okmotu should ensure the sale of products at acceptable prices. Saparbeckov added that a stable alternative would help lower prices, as buyers would prefer cheaper shops.

Akim of the Kochkor district Bayaly Dosaliev emphasized that most buyers prefer to purchase meat specifically in the village of Kochkor, and therefore it is necessary to organize sales at reduced prices not only in the district but also in each ayil okmotu. He also mentioned that some residents do not trust the quality of meat priced at 600 soms, which is related to insufficient explanatory work by the veterinary service. District authorities are negotiating with private companies to address this issue.

Additionally, there are plans to open a social store at the bus station to help socially vulnerable citizens purchase meat at lower prices. The ayil okmotu has been instructed to regularly organize fairs.

During the meeting, it was reported that the Antimonopoly Service has already fined some shops three times: the first time for 3,000 soms, the second time for 16,000 soms, and the third time for 27,000 soms. Other retail outlets have also been fined 3,000 and 16,000 soms. To stabilize prices, fairs are held on Saturdays, where meat is sold for 600 soms.
