Significant support measures for private preschool education have been announced in Uzbekistan. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that entrepreneurs who open kindergartens on the premises of educational institutions and government agencies will be exempt from rent for a period of 30 years. This measure will be implemented in regions where there is a low level of preschool education coverage among children.
Additionally, the government will cover half of the costs for each child and guarantees three years of salary subsidies for educators. To support entrepreneurs, preferential loans of up to 5 billion sums will also be provided, and a reduced social tax rate will be in effect until 2030.
At the same time, the country is undergoing a reform of the educational system: preschool preparation will become mandatory, and private kindergartens will be granted the right to issue state certificates. There will be opportunities for educators to obtain higher education through a dual system, allowing them to combine work and study. The creation of a network of innovative kindergartens "Yangi avlod" with increased allowances for employees is also planned.
