According to the deputy, 58 billion soms will be needed to increase salaries in 2026.
At a meeting of parliamentary committees, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev expressed the opinion that the current salaries of kindergarten teachers, school teachers, and school directors are not sufficiently motivating.
“You mentioned that a salary increase is planned for April. But by how much?” the deputy inquired.
Adylbek Kasymaliev reported that in 2026, salary increases will occur in two stages: first, starting from April 1, the salaries of teachers, doctors, cultural workers, as well as technical and junior support staff will increase; then, starting from October 1, there will be a salary increase for some state and municipal employees who have not received increases before. He clarified that the overall growth will be 50%.
According to Adylbek Kasymaliev, implementing these plans will require 58 billion soms, of which 38 billion are already allocated in the budget for 2026.
