A BGK deputy proposed attracting foreign workers and increasing tariffs
Vice Mayor Ramiz Aliyev stated at a BGK commission meeting that the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" is short of 420 employees. He explained the reasons for this situation.
“The main factors are the level of salaries and the low prestige of the job. The current tariff for garbage collection does not allow for salary increases. Nevertheless, I urge people to consider the possibility of employment there,” Aliyev noted.
In response to this issue, Deputy Rysbay Amatov suggested attracting foreign workers to address the staffing problem at the enterprise.
“Alternatively, we could transfer garbage collection services to private companies. They would clean the city effectively. It is also necessary to increase the tariffs,” he added.
