At the meeting of the joint commission on social protection and housing and communal services, Dinara Bekmuratova from the party "Жаңы күч – Новая сила" drew attention on November 20 to the ongoing problem with garbage in Bishkek, despite assurances from the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" about its efforts.

Deputy Director of "Tazalyk" Baarkan Asanbaeva explained the delays in waste collection due to technical malfunctions and production needs. She also noted that after the administrative-territorial reform, new areas were added to the enterprise, such as Alamedin and Lower Ala-Archa, as well as the villages of Kok-Zhar, for which several units of special equipment were allocated. According to her, there was only one vehicle in poor condition in the recently joined settlements.

Bekmuratova expressed doubts about the effectiveness of "Tazalyk," emphasizing that deputies receive images of garbage piles daily and send them to Mayor Ramis Aliyev. She noted that discussions about transferring services to private companies have been ongoing for two to three years, but no steps have been taken so far. The deputy mentioned similar situations in Novopavlovka, which is now fully serviced by "Tazalyk."

“If you don’t have enough time, why not outsource these services? The equipment and workforce are available. What is the problem then?” Bekmuratova asked.

In response, Baarkan Asanbaeva promised that a tender for outsourcing would be announced by the end of the year, adding that the issue of financing and the cost of services provided is currently being resolved.
