Approximately 129,000 entrepreneurs are actively involved in the tourism sector, indicating a high level of business engagement in this industry.
The growth in economic indicators is attributed to several factors, including:
- active promotion of Kyrgyzstan on the international stage;
- development of infrastructure for tourists and improvement of service quality;
- expansion of the geography of tourist flows;
- increase in domestic tourism and entrepreneurial activity in the regions.
Government agencies emphasize that the development of the tourism sector is being carried out with a focus on sustainable practices. Among the priorities are attention to environmental aspects, preservation of cultural heritage, and balanced development of various regions.
Kyrgyzstan continues to strive to strengthen its position as a key tourist destination in Central Asia. The main tasks remain the development of year-round tourism, digitalization of the sector, creation of new tourist products, and improvement of international cooperation.
