The skeletons, which are between 145 and 157 million years old, include a female Allosaurus with a baby and a Stegosaurus. These fossils were purchased at a Christie’s auction in 2024. Additionally, eleven Chinese artifacts bought at a Sotheby’s auction were also confiscated.

During the investigation, assets worth 2.3 billion dollars were confiscated, including cash, real estate, and cryptocurrency. Ten individuals of Chinese descent, accused of laundering money obtained from overseas gambling companies and other criminal activities, were also imprisoned.
