President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, during a working visit to Uzbekistan, met with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 15.
During the discussions, the parties addressed key issues concerning the strengthening of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. They emphasized the development of political dialogue, trade and economic ties, the implementation of joint initiatives, as well as the expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchanges, which contribute to creating an atmosphere of trust and good neighborliness.
Both leaders expressed their readiness to actively continue working on strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations and underscored the importance of coordinating efforts to maintain sustainable development and stability in the region.
Following the negotiations, President Japarov presented Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the book "New Uzbekistan: The Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev," which has been translated into Kyrgyz.
