The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan, Sergey Vakunov, emphasized the significance of the opening of this center in his speech. He noted that this event is hard to overestimate, especially in the context of the deepened strategic partnership between the two countries.
Vakunov stated: "Cooperation between our states covers many areas. In addition to government structures and economic partners, non-profit organizations, such as the ANO 'Eurasia', play an important role. The opening of this center will be an additional advantage for the residents of Kyrgyzstan who are interested in Russian education at all levels. It will attract those who value and respect the Russian language and strive to learn it. Such centers should appear more frequently."
The Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan also supported the creation of the new center. Deputy Minister Albert Makhmetkulov noted that the significance of the Russian language and culture cannot be overestimated.
He added: "From an early age, the Russian language opens doors to the world of knowledge and information. We are grateful for your initiative. We are moving towards the creation of a unified educational space, and we have many cultural projects. Therefore, such centers are extremely relevant. We hope that similar initiatives will continue with enthusiasm."
The famous writer Chingiz Aitmatov once said: "For me, the Russian language is as native as the Kyrgyz language." He emphasized that both languages develop together and contribute to mutual cultural exchange, science, and education. Thus, the opening of the Eurasian Center for the Russian Language, Culture, and Inclusion is a long-awaited step that has been in the making for a long time.
According to the chairman of the Council of ANO "Eurasia", State Duma Deputy Alena Arshinova, "Russia and Kyrgyzstan play a key role in the Eurasian Economic Union. We are developing the initiatives of Presidents Putin and Japarov. Culture and cooperation form the basis of the economy. The center in Bishkek will be an important contribution to the strategic partnership. We plan to cooperate with all schools in Kyrgyzstan, and we hope that every educational institution will accept our center as part of its family. There will be meetings with writers and poets, and comfortable conditions will be created for people with disabilities."
Although the center has just begun its work, already several hundred people have expressed a desire to study there. The teaching and creative staff includes highly qualified specialists, and convenient conditions have been created for people with health limitations.
In the future, it is planned to open a similar center in the Naryn region, and then in other regions of Kyrgyzstan, as the population has already shown interest. The organizers are confident that their ambitious plans will be realized, with an emphasis on strengthening friendship and partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
