She shared an interesting fact from an old newspaper published during Soviet times when the village had a collective farm named after Lenin. This publication stated that before the 60th anniversary of the USSR, the "Universal" tractor was placed on a podium at the collective farm's headquarters. It was sent off to a well-deserved retirement by two "K-700" tractors and a group of farm workers.
The history of this exhibition tractor is quite fascinating. In 1933, it first appeared in Ivanovka, attracting the attention of local residents and nomadic Kyrgyz who hurried to see the "devil's cart." At the wheel was a young tractor driver, Sasha Morozov, who stood out with his large glasses and long gloves. At that time, he became one of the most notable figures in the area.
This tractor served in the collective farm for a whole 35 years. Despite the emergence of more powerful models, such as the ChTZ and DT, the old "Universal" continued to do its job. Due to a lack of spare parts, its owner, Alexander Petrovich Morozov, personally handled its repairs.
In 1968, the tractor was decommissioned, but the collective farm's management decided to bring it back to life. At that moment, something amazing happened: Alexander Petrovich, making a familiar gesture, touched the carburetor and turned the water valve — the tractor started up again! He got behind the wheel and drove through the village, just like in the distant 1933. The mechanics considered it an honor to ride it.
Today, the collective farm named after Lenin is a large multi-sector enterprise with over 4,500 hectares of arable land. Its farms house about 2,200 head of cattle, including 1,000 cows, as well as 12,000 sheep, pigs, horses, and poultry. The machine and tractor fleet consists of approximately 140 units of equipment, including tractors and vehicles. The collective farm consistently generates high income, and its workers live in prosperity.
