As reported by the authorized representative of the president in parliament, Almasbek Abytov, Ryskuliev was appointed to his position by the president's quota, which is why Sadyr Japarov requested his release based on the recommendation of the head of the agency, Almazbek Akmatov.
Deputy Zhanibek Abirov, after reviewing the materials submitted to the committee, expressed surprise, as he knows Ryskuliev well.
He asked Akmatov: "Did you discuss the situation with him, how does he explain what happened? Why are you making a decision about his dismissal so quickly?"
The head of the Accounts Chamber replied that the internal security service of the agency conducted an investigation into the incident, the results of which were sent to the president. Based on this information, a proposal for dismissal was made.
Akmatov also noted that Ryskuliev was supposed to hold his position until 2027.
