The audit, conducted as a result of analyzing the implementation of cashless payments in the public transport sector, revealed that the reasons for these losses were insufficient control over the transition to cashless payments, as well as ineffective organization of work and improper performance of official duties by employees of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, as well as the municipal enterprises themselves responsible for passenger transportation. As a result of these violations, the budget incurred significant losses, including:
- 72 million 167 thousand soms from the municipal enterprise "Bishkek Passenger Transport Enterprise";
- 13 million 351.9 thousand soms from the municipal enterprise "Bishkek Trolleybus Administration."
