The American president left an autograph on the baseball cap
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the president of Kazakhstan, received unusual gifts from his American counterpart Donald Trump — a baseball cap with an autograph and a symbolic key to the White House. This was reported by the press secretary of the Kazakh president, Ruslan Zheldibay, on his Telegram channel.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the USA, Magzhan Ilyasov, arrived in Washington in October to participate in the ceremony of presenting credentials, where this symbolic transfer of gifts from Trump to Tokayev took place, as reported by RBC.
During the meeting with Ilyasov, Trump shared his impressions of the meeting with Tokayev that took place in November, noting him as an experienced statesman with a deep understanding of international affairs.
On November 6, a "C5+1" summit was held in Washington, dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the platform. The event was attended by the presidents of five Central Asian countries, including Tokayev, who was the only one to address Trump in English.
Tokayev characterized Trump as "sent from above" and a great leader, noting that it was thanks to his actions that "eight wars were stopped in eight months," and the USA became the main investor in Kazakhstan's economy with investments exceeding 100 billion dollars.
