The gifts were presented during a ceremony dedicated to the presentation of credentials by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Washington, Magzhan Ilyasov.
The press secretary of Tokayev also reported that Trump shared his impressions of the meeting with the Kazakh leader, which took place in November in the Oval Office.
“The American president conveyed his warm personal wishes and expressed deep respect for Tokayev, describing him as ‘a wonderful person and an experienced statesman with a deep understanding of international processes,’” the press service noted.
