In response to a question about whether he was familiar with this greeting, Peskov noted: “Of course. What’s so surprising about that? Many of those who end up in the White House start speaking this way. Didn’t we speak differently in Anchorage? Remember, reread,” he told special correspondent of “Kommersant” Andrey Kolesnikov.

At the “Central Asia – USA” summit, Tokayev characterized Donald Trump as “a great leader and statesman, sent from above to bring common sense and traditions back to U.S. politics.” Furthermore, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan reported that during Tokayev's visit to the U.S., deals worth over $17 billion were concluded between companies of the two countries.

On November 11, Tokayev arrived in Moscow for a two-day state visit, accompanied by an honor guard of Su-35 fighters.

That same evening, the President of Kazakhstan met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The official program of the visit will begin on November 12, during which a number of bilateral agreements are expected to be signed, including a declaration on elevating the relations between Kazakhstan and Russia to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
