Kadyrova called for punishment for the driver who transports students from one of the private schools. According to her, her daughter became afraid to go to school, and during the holidays, she shared terrible events with her mother.
“I appeal to the respected President Sadyr Nurgozhoevich Japarov and the Chairman of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev for help. My daughter studies at a private school in the city of Osh. The school bus driver harassed her. She always got off last, and he took advantage of this: he offered her a drink from a small bottle, after which the girl fell asleep. Then he took her to a secluded place, touched her, and harassed her, threatening and intimidating her. My daughter returned home in tears, afraid to sleep, and every day she said she didn’t want to go to school. When I asked her why she didn’t want to go, she replied that she had a fight with her classmates. I found out about this during the holidays when she asked, ‘Mom, can I not go to school?’ When I replied that it was the holidays, she said, ‘Then this person won’t bother me.’ When I asked who exactly, she replied that it was the driver who offered her juice, and after that, she falls asleep, and then he does unacceptable things to her,” Kadyrova recounted.
According to her, these actions occurred regularly. She and her brothers tried to go to the police but did not receive an adequate response. “He is free and continues to walk around with a lawyer. If he is not caught, what will happen to other girls? He works in public transport. Even if he is fired, he will easily find another job,” she added, expressing concerns for her other daughters.
Kadyrova also noted that the results of the medical examination are not yet ready, and the police have not conducted the necessary investigations. “My daughter did not receive help from a psychologist; she is being summoned for interrogations. Her mental state has worsened: she has become aggressive and is afraid of men, even doctors,” the mother emphasized.
The director of the school where Kadyrova's daughter studies, Rustam Salimov, stated his readiness for a fair investigation of the incident. “At the time of the incident, I was abroad. On January 4, the administrator informed me about what happened. We are interested in an honest investigation, as such actions contradict our moral standards. The driver, who works for us under contract, has been with us for about a year, and there have been no complaints about his behavior before,” he noted.
The press service of the Osh city police reported that two statements have been registered in this case. The first was received on January 3 from a resident of the Kara-Suu district, who claims that the private school driver committed sexual acts against her daughter. As a result, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 158 of the Criminal Code (“Immoral acts”), and examinations have been appointed. The affected girl was unable to give testimony in the presence of a lawyer and social workers, and the investigation continues.
Also on January 3, a statement was filed by the driver himself, who claims that he was unlawfully detained and beaten. A criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 169 of the Criminal Code (“Unlawful deprivation of liberty”), and the investigation continues. All information will be provided upon completion of the investigative actions.
