Nina Voloshina, a pensioner, became one of many victims of scammers who forced her to sell her apartment. The money received from the sale was sent to the fraudsters. A criminal case has been initiated in connection with this. The woman expresses concerns that she faces a life on the street and recorded an appeal to Kamchybek Tashiev.

“I am reaching out to those who can help, especially to Kamchybek Tashiev. I found myself in a difficult situation. At the end of November, I was deceived by scammers who posed as employees of a mobile company, the 'Tunduk' system, the National Bank, and a GKNB investigator. They showed me documents indicating that my apartment had supposedly already been sold. Under their psychological pressure, I agreed to all their terms,” Voloshina said.

According to her, the scammers provided her with the contact of a real estate agency and the accounts to which she transferred the money received from the sale of the apartment.

When Nina realized that she was left without both housing and money, she turned to the First May District Department of Internal Affairs. As a result, a criminal case was registered for fraud. The woman was recognized as a victim. During the investigation, dropper agents were detained; however, Nina doubts that this will help her get her apartment back. Therefore, she appealed to Kamchybek Kydyrshaevich to take this case under personal control. “I am a pensioner and cannot afford rent or the purchase of new housing. I am very afraid of ending up on the street,” she added.

The press service of the First May District Department of Internal Affairs confirmed that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In addition, the press service noted that the individuals involved in the fraudulent scheme have already been identified. “A legal assessment will be provided based on the results of the investigation,” the Department of Internal Affairs added.

The investigation is ongoing.

Earlier, the editorial office reported on other victims who suffered from similar schemes: radiologist Elena Sumbaeva and teacher Lyudmila Kozhevnikova from Kara-Balta.
