At the first meeting, not only Dolina will be present, but also lawyers, attorneys specializing in housing disputes, representatives from the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr), the Ministry of Justice, banks, as well as deputies and bloggers.
Dmitry Svishchev noted that the reason for the discussion was the increasing number of cases where home sellers, after completing transactions and receiving money, attempt to reclaim their property through the courts, claiming they have become victims of fraud.
This situation has been referred to as the "Dolina effect" following a high-profile incident involving the singer. In the summer, Larisa Dolina reported that she sold her elite apartment in Khamovniki and handed over the money to fraudsters. According to her, the amount of damage was about 180 million rubles, including the cost of the apartment. As a result, she turned to the court, which declared the transaction invalid, and the buyer, Polina Lurie, was forced to return the apartment, ending up without housing and money. The fraudsters were arrested and sentenced to several years in prison.
