“If I had been given a summons, I would have come to the police myself”
Armed men and police officers came to the home of Kubanychbek Kadyrov, a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh. He reported this through his social media.
“They came with guns. I don’t understand why and who did this. They were breaking into the house. If I had just been given a summons and the situation explained to me, I would have come to the police myself,” he stated, addressing President Sadyr Japarov and the head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev, asking them to restore order in the law enforcement agencies.
