A resident of Kerben, Karamat Aitmatova, accused an acquaintance, citizen N. N., of fraud after she convinced her to transfer ownership of a building belonging to Aitmatova into her name. The woman shared this information at a press conference held at AKIpress-Jalal-Abad.

Karamat Aitmatova expressed dissatisfaction that for five years she has been unable to achieve justice in court and has been left without housing. She appealed to the president and the chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) for a fair investigation of her case.

According to Aitmatova, certain officials from the Supreme Court and former deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh are influencing the court proceedings. In 2017, N. N. suggested that Karamat jointly use the vacant building, promising to share the profits. Despite Aitmatova stating that it was impossible for her to take out a loan due to issues with her credit history, N. N. insisted that they still attempt to secure a loan, assuring her that the profits would be divided equally.

When they approached the Aksy District Department of Land Management and Registration of Real Estate Rights, they were asked if they planned to sell the building. They replied that they did not and indicated that the building was being transferred to obtain a loan for a period of five years. However, N. N. suggested removing the time limit, and ultimately the building was re-registered in her husband's name, M. A.

After that, despite promises, work did not commence, and eventually Aitmatova decided to undertake the renovation of the second and third floors herself. In 2018, when the promises were not fulfilled, she contacted law enforcement and later filed a lawsuit.

In 2021, the first-instance court declared the contract invalid in favor of Aitmatova, and in 2022, the regional court upheld this decision. However, when the case was transferred to the Supreme Court, it was sent back to the Aksy District Court, where it was again decided in favor of N. N. and her husband. Aitmatova noted that her evidence was ignored, which led her to appeal to the Council of Judges, but her complaint was not satisfied. The case is currently reopened and directed to the Tash-Kumyr City Court.

Karamat claims that influential figures are affecting her case, as N. N. is friends with a former deputy, and her husband works as a judge. She emphasizes that she has been deceived and is asking for a fair investigation.

Aitmatova also reported that a criminal case has been initiated against her under Article 209, Part 4, Clause 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which has been returned to court. She mentioned that another citizen also became a victim of fraud for an amount of about 2 million soms, and another woman took out a loan for N. N. All these facts are confirmed during the investigation.

At the time of publication, it was not possible to obtain a comment from N. N.
