
On January 14, a meeting took place in Bishkek between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Meder Abakirov, and the Ambassador of Turkey to Kyrgyzstan, Mekin Mustafa Kemal Okem.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the interlocutors discussed important aspects of Kyrgyz-Turkish interaction covering political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian areas. Plans for organizing visits at various levels in the upcoming year were also considered.
In the context of trade-economic cooperation, Turkish Ambassador Mekin Mustafa Kemal Okem emphasized the interest of Turkish companies in investing in Kyrgyzstan. The parties agreed on joint actions to promote this direction.
