During the meeting, participants shared their experiences working in leading clinics around the world and presented proposals for improving the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan. Among the topics discussed were the implementation of modern technologies such as bronchoscopy and NGS diagnostics, as well as digital solutions, and the enhancement of oncology, pulmonology, transplantation, and anesthesiology services. Issues related to hemodialysis, mobile clinics, and the simplification of licensing and training for medical professionals were also raised.
Most of the proposals focused on personnel aspects. Participants expressed their readiness to support the training of Kyrgyz specialists, organize internships, conduct lectures and expert reports, as well as attract professors for surgeries and master classes. The necessity of creating conditions for specialists to return to their homeland and participate in professional projects was also discussed.
The deputy ministers noted that the Ministry of Health views cooperation with foreign doctors as an important resource for the development of the national system. Within this framework, it is planned to hold in-person and online meetings in countries where many Kyrgyz doctors work, participate in the Mirrahimov readings, and engage in reforms in the areas of digitalization and staffing.
At the end of the meeting, Bakytbek Kadyraliev thanked the participants on behalf of the Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov, emphasizing the state's interest in maintaining professional ties with compatriots abroad. "The shortage of medical personnel is one of the main problems facing the country. We are open to cooperation and will seek practical solutions to attract experience and technology in the interests of our patients," he noted.
The Ministry of Health announced that similar meetings will be held regularly.
