An online conference was held at the Ministry of Health with the participation of Kyrgyz specialists working in the medical field abroad, in countries such as Germany, the USA, the UK, Russia, and Middle Eastern states.
According to the ministry, the meeting was led by Deputy Ministers Bakytbek Kadyraliev and Temirbek Erkinov.
The main goal of the event was to discuss international experience in medicine, exchange knowledge, prepare medical personnel, digitize healthcare, and explore opportunities for compatriots to assist in the development of the healthcare system in Kyrgyzstan.
Participants shared their experiences working in the best clinics in the world and proposed improvements for the domestic medical system. This includes the implementation of modern technologies such as bronchoscopy and NGS diagnostics, digital solutions, enhancements in oncology, pulmonology, transplantology, and anesthesiology, issues of hemodialysis, mobile clinics, as well as simplifying the training and licensing of doctors.
Most proposals concerned personnel training, and participants expressed their readiness to assist in training Kyrgyz specialists, organizing internships, conducting lectures, and inviting professors for master classes and surgeries. The issue of creating conditions for the return of doctors to Kyrgyzstan and their participation in professional projects was also discussed.
The deputy ministers emphasized the importance of attracting foreign specialists as a resource for the development of the healthcare system. They noted that they would create opportunities for further experience exchange, including holding meetings both in-person and online in countries with a high concentration of Kyrgyz doctors, participation in the Mirrahimov Readings, as well as in digital and personnel reforms.In conclusion, Bakytbek Kadyraliev thanked the participants on behalf of the Minister of Health Kanibek Dosmambetov, emphasizing that the state is interested in maintaining professional ties with compatriots abroad. "The shortage of personnel in the medical field is one of the main problems of the country. We are open to cooperation and will seek practical solutions to attract knowledge, technologies, and experience in the interests of our patients," he noted.
Such meetings will be held regularly, and the Ministry of Health will continue its work to create conditions for the participation of foreign specialists in scientific, educational, and clinical activities, including internship and repatriation programs for medical personnel.
