The Antimonopoly Service proposes to restore state regulation of contracts in universities of Kyrgyzstan

According to Nurlanova, the bill aims to establish profitability, which will allow for business development while simultaneously preventing unjustified price increases. Deputy Marlen Mamataliyev raised the issue of 16 types of socially significant goods and their state regulation. Deputy Kamila Talieva expressed support for the bill but also clarified that its adoption should not worsen the situation with contracts in universities, especially considering the sharp increase in tuition fees over the past two years. "When developing pricing policy, it is important to consider the interests of the population," she emphasized.

Jenal Orozbaev, chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, added that since 2016, higher education has been excluded from state price regulation, and it is time to restore this practice. The deputy supported this proposal.

Deputy Zhanibek Abirov emphasized the need to strengthen the work of the antimonopoly service in regulating prices for socially significant goods.

Additionally, the Committee also reviewed and approved in the first reading the bill on the ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, signed in Moscow on July 28, 2025. These amendments aim to eliminate legal gaps, clarify definitions, and empower the Eurasian Economic Commission to qualify obstacles in the internal market of the Union and recognize barriers as eliminated.
