The World Bank called Kyrgyzstan's economic growth indicators "very impressive"

The visit of the World Bank's Regional Director for Central Asia, Nadji Benhassine, to Kyrgyzstan provided an opportunity for a meeting with the Prime Minister and Head of the President's Administration, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

According to information provided by the government, the discussion covered the current state of bilateral cooperation, prospects for joint projects, as well as issues of budget support and important legislative reforms.

Kasymaliev emphasized the significance of the World Bank's support in the process of socio-economic changes in the country, highlighting that Kyrgyzstan highly values the trust of this international financial institution and is open to implementing the best global practices in financial management.

The parties also discussed plans for the current year and medium-term initiatives.

For his part, Nadji Benhassine congratulated the Kyrgyz government on its achievements, noting that the country's economic growth indicators in the regional context are "impressive."

The World Bank representative praised the efforts of the Cabinet of Ministers to improve fiscal policy, emphasizing that the reforms being carried out contribute to the formation of a healthy economic environment.

"Creating new jobs and improving the living standards of citizens is the foundation of sustainable growth. The World Bank is ready to support your country in all areas of mutual interest," added Benhassine.

In conclusion of the meeting, Kasymaliev expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation, to which Benhassine confirmed the World Bank's readiness to remain a reliable partner for Kyrgyzstan in implementing ambitious national programs.
