The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported the discovery of a large batch of firearms and ammunition in the Osh region.
According to information provided by the SCNS, this arsenal belongs to members of an organized crime group led by the criminal authority Kadyrov Dosonov, who is known by the nickname "Dzhengo".
During the inspection of the hideout, the following items were seized:
- 12 Kalashnikov assault rifles (AK);
- 2 combat pistols of the "Beretta" and "Makarov" brands;
- 2 smoothbore shotguns;
- 11 magazines for the Kalashnikov assault rifle;
- 700 rounds of 7.62 mm caliber;
- 58 rounds of 9x19 mm caliber;
- 66 rounds of 9x18 mm caliber;
- 8 cleaning kits for firearms.
The investigation has information that this arsenal was prepared for committing serious crimes, including destabilizing the situation in the country. The members of the criminal group were waiting for the right moment for their actions, believing that internal problems in the country, caused by destructive forces, would create suitable conditions for an unconstitutional overthrow of power.
Support was also planned from influential criminal groups interested in regaining control over the territory of the country and strengthening the positions of the "thieves' idea" and the "Brotherhood" of the criminal world.
The main goal of these criminal elements was to attempt to carry out an armed coup and establish political power under criminal control. They expected to receive support from international terrorist and extremist organizations, using religious rhetoric to oppose the secular order.
The timely discovery of this arsenal helped prevent plans to organize mass riots and armed provocations, as well as neutralize the power base of the group. Currently, the seized weapons are being sent for examination, and investigative actions are ongoing to identify the organizers, ideological inspirers, and financial sponsors involved in preparing unconstitutional actions.
