Robert Salas, a former U.S. Air Force officer, detailed the shocking events when UFOs, according to him, were able to deactivate American nuclear missiles without firing a single shot, as reported by the press.

At 85 years old, Salas claims that in 1967, at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, 20 Minuteman I intercontinental ballistic missiles were disabled by an unknown force that managed to overcome the entire security system of the base.

According to his account, in March of that year, base guards reported twice about strange lights rapidly moving across the sky. These objects, which could suddenly stop and hover in the air, emitted a bright red light before the missiles, located underground, ceased to function.

Salas, who was in an underground launch control capsule with one colleague, added that the guards were certain that these were not Soviet planes preparing to attack.

In a podcast with Danny Jones, the Air Force veteran expressed confidence in the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations, which, in his opinion, have visited Earth to prevent a potential Third World War that could lead to a nuclear catastrophe.

According to Salas: “Another civilization has come to us, concerned that we might destroy the planet as a result of nuclear conflict, for many reasons that we may not even be aware of.”

He noted that an investigation conducted by Boeing could not explain the reasons for the warheads' shutdown, as the systems of American missiles were specifically designed to protect against such interference.

“Engineers did not understand how this signal could affect each of the missiles. Our cable system was triple-protected against external electromagnetic interference,” Salas explained.

The first UFO sighting occurred on March 16, 1967, when a mysterious object disabled 10 missiles at once.

Eight days later, a base guard called Salas in the underground control room at 10 PM local time, reporting multiple strange lights flying over the nuclear facility.

The guards reported that these lights could change direction and turn 90 degrees without making a sound.

Initially, Salas was skeptical about this report, but soon received another call from security about a UFO hovering over the main gate of the base, emitting a pulsing red light.

To prevent a possible incursion of the UFO into the missile complex, the guards reported similar lights hovering over two missile silos located a mile from the control room.

“Suddenly, a loud alarm sounded, indicating a problem with one of the missiles. We looked at the display and saw that one of the missiles switched from green to red. Launch impossible,” Salas told Jones in the March 13 program.

“Right after that, bing, bing, bing, all ten missiles were in the red zone.”

Salas noted that warning lights indicating an intrusion into the secured area where the missiles were located turned on.

When he called the guards to check the silos, they reported that the UFO had disappeared just as they arrived on the scene.

After the incident, officials from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) demanded that Salas and his commander sign strict non-disclosure agreements, threatening imprisonment for any discussions about the event.

However, years later, after reading about a similar incident, Salas decided to share his experience, as he already believed that the information had leaked to the media.

Boeing engineers, who investigated the incident, concluded that an external electromagnetic signal somehow disrupted the control and guidance systems of the missiles, affecting a device called a logic coupler.

Despite establishing a probable cause, Boeing noted that no standard device could simultaneously affect all 10 missiles, as each was in a separate silo, protected from electromagnetic interference.

For many years, the Pentagon has officially stated that it has no evidence of UFOs or extraterrestrial beings and their visits to Earth.

However, President Trump instructed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to release all government materials related to the study of these unidentified flying objects so that the public could review the available data.
