“I think he’s probably alive. I think he’s injured, but most likely still alive,” Trump noted in a conversation with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade.
These remarks came after Khamenei's first address as Supreme Leader was aired on Iranian television on Thursday.
A week earlier, Tehran's ambassador to Cyprus told The Guardian that Khamenei was injured during the strikes on February 28, which resulted in the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and some family members, confirming reports from U.S. media about his injuries.
