According to WSJ, the Gulf countries are on the brink of entering into an armed conflict with Iran.

U.S. allies in this key region are prepared to participate in actions against the Iranian authorities. These steps strengthen the U.S. capabilities for conducting airstrikes and open new horizons for financial attacks on Tehran.
However, so far, none of the countries are ready to cross the line and deploy their armed forces, which is a step that the rulers of these states want to avoid. The situation is exacerbated by Iran's threats to strengthen its influence in the resource-rich region.

Recently, Saudi Arabia granted permission to U.S. troops to use King Fahd Air Base, located on the western side of the peninsula. Previously, the kingdom had stated that it would not allow its military facilities or airspace to be used for attacks on Iran.

According to sources, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is close to deciding to participate in military actions, seeking to restore a deterrent factor. The kingdom's entry into the conflict, according to estimates, is just a matter of time.

The United Arab Emirates are also beginning to take serious measures against Iranian assets, which could complicate the financing of the ruling structures in Tehran. Discussions are underway about the possible deployment of military units.
