At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, an exhibition dedicated to Russian higher education titled "Education in Russia - 2026" has opened. According to the university, this event brings together 27 major universities from the Russian Federation and is one of the largest educational exhibitions for prospective students in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The exhibition runs from April 1 to April 3 and covers several cities, including Bishkek, Kara-Balta, Kant, and Tokmak. The main venue in the capital is the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.

Universities with diverse fields of study are participating, including engineering, IT, medical, agricultural, pedagogical, transport, and classical disciplines. Participants have the opportunity to ask university representatives questions about admission rules, academic programs, and study conditions.
Albert Zulkharnayev, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Kyrgyz Republic, noted:
“Exhibitions are held in Kyrgyzstan twice a year — in spring and autumn. This is an effective way for school students to familiarize themselves in advance with the opportunities offered by Russian universities and consider their further educational paths,” he said.

The rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Sergey Volkov, emphasized the significance of this project for the development of cooperation in the educational sphere.
“Our university hosts partners with whom we have already established cooperation. We view such events as an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and create new joint educational programs,” he added.
Furthermore, he highlighted the high interest of school students in the exhibition: “Already in the first hours of operation, there is a significant flow of visitors. This confirms the high demand for quality education and interest in the opportunities offered by Russian universities,” noted Volkov.
Consultations on admission and study in Russia, as well as meetings with representatives of admission committees, are planned as part of the exhibition.
The organizer of this event is the public fund "Moscow Classics" with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is expected that thousands of school students and their parents will visit the exhibition, which will contribute to the development of educational dialogue and strengthen humanitarian ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
