Previously, magnetic storms were recorded from the 1st to the 3rd, then on October 12, and also from the 18th to the 19th. This is the second consecutive month with an increased number of magnetic storms: in September, there were five after a period of calm at the end of summer.
As of today, the intensity of disturbances is expected to be moderate, which aligns with forecasts. The storm is classified at a low level G1, with a possible increase to a maximum of G2 (the scale includes a total of five levels).
These magnetic phenomena can affect satellite technologies and other systems on Earth, as well as impact human health.
In particular, during magnetic storms, issues with the musculoskeletal system may worsen, fluctuations in blood pressure may be observed, capillary blood flow may slow down, and symptoms such as tachycardia, insomnia, and migraines may occur.
