During the inspection, residents of the apartment building approached the mayor with various complaints and requests. The municipal head listened to them and stressed that the residents should take care of the order in the adjacent area themselves.
Mayor Zhenishbek Toktorbaev expressed dissatisfaction with the condition of the facility: “How can this be? It’s just terrible here! Why aren’t you monitoring this place?” he addressed the director of the family medicine center, Raatbek Mamaev, who only replied that they were trying to do everything possible.
The mayor insisted again on the need to improve the situation: “Is this the best you can do?” To which Mamaev informed that the building was constructed in 1960, and part of its premises is privately owned. The city head was shocked that this was happening: “Is this really normal? How can this be?”
The center's director clarified that most of the premises are intended for the clinic, but some of them have been transferred to private hands. The mayor suggested building a new clinic on a vacant lot, adding that this would be a good solution since the land belongs to the city.
Vice Mayor Nurlan Zakirov pointed to the location of the Chocolate Bazaar and the Boston Bazaar and confirmed that this is a suitable place for construction. Toktorbaev ordered to check the documents and prepare everything necessary for the implementation of the new project.
Raatbek Mamaev reported that they had tried to carry out repairs but faced legal obstacles, and now they are hoping for the mayor's assistance. After inspecting the internal condition of the clinic, the mayor noted that it is extremely unsatisfactory.
“You serve 27 thousand people, right?” he asked. The vice mayor explained that the family medicine center is divided into two, and this branch includes 9 clinics and 2 FAPs. Mamaev added that the previous health minister didn’t even go inside when visiting the center.
The mayor also pointed out the poor condition of the physiotherapy room and the old windows in the building. After leaving the clinic, residents approached him, complaining that the area in front of their house had become a parking lot for cars.
The mayor inquired why they themselves do not maintain order in this place. One of the residents mentioned that Abdushukur Aji promised to help with the construction, to which the mayor replied that it is not his responsibility and that the residents should first tidy up their home before asking for help.
In conclusion, the mayor suggested referring to the documents to find out the possibility of constructing a new clinic building and noted that this could significantly improve the situation in the area.
