Scientists report that polar auroras can be observed starting from a latitude of 45 degrees.

The polar oval, where the brightest auroras are seen, is moving towards Europe and Canada; however, there is a chance that some observers will be able to see its "tail" before sunrise.

On November 12, the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences noted that the Earth has encountered a powerful global-scale magnetic storm.
