Tokaev to Participate in the CSTO Summit in Bishkek

The council session is scheduled for November 27.

As stated in the CSTO materials, important issues of cooperation will be discussed on the agenda, including the fight against drug trafficking and migration. A declaration is also planned to be adopted, which will outline a unified position of the member states on security issues. In addition, the participants will discuss the candidacy for the new Secretary General of the CSTO for the term from 2026 to 2029. Currently, this position is held by Imangali Tasmagambetov.
