In connection with this terrible tragedy, Batsetsgeg Batmunkh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, expressed her condolences to the people of Australia.

On her page on X, she published a message: "I want to express my deepest condolences to the people of Australia regarding the tragic events in Sydney. My thoughts are with the families of the victims and with all those affected by this monstrous act of violence. In this difficult time, I want to express my solidarity with the people of Australia."

On Monday, the Australian government announced measures to tighten gun control legislation amid the declared mourning for the victims of the deadliest mass shooting in the last three decades, in which a father and son killed 15 people during a Jewish holiday on Bondi Beach in Sydney.
