In Le-Touquet, where one of the presidential residences is located, about 50 farmers gathered early in the morning in response to a union call. According to local media, the protesters parked their tractors along the waterfront and, under police supervision, dumped agricultural waste near the president's house as a sign of protest.

This action is part of broader demonstrations taking place in Brussels, where dissatisfaction with the agreement between the EU and MERCOSUR is also being expressed. Although the European Commission has decided to postpone the signing of this document until January, unions consider this insufficient and demand a complete rejection of the agreement.

Additionally, farming organizations express concerns about potential cuts to EU subsidies and the implementation of climate measures that could lead to increased costs for farmers.

The mayor of Le-Touquet, Daniel Fasquel, expressed support for the protesters, noting that farmers still have not been provided with clear guarantees to protect their interests.
