During the night and morning hours from December 22 to 24, as reported by the Tajikistan Hydrometeorology Agency, visibility may deteriorate to 100–300 meters due to fog, and the formation of ice and frost on roads, sidewalks, power lines, trees, and other open surfaces is expected.
Forecasters warn that such adverse weather conditions may lead to complications on the roads, increase the likelihood of traffic accidents, and hinder the movement of citizens.
In this regard, drivers are advised to:
- adhere to the established speed limits,
- increase the distance between vehicles and turn on low beam headlights;
- pedestrians should be especially careful on slippery sections.
