The U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia, Richard Buangan, expressed good wishes to the people of Mongolia, hoping for prosperity in 2026.
In his greeting, he said:
“Good evening!
On behalf of the U.S. Embassy, I would like to congratulate the people of Mongolia on the upcoming New Year, wishing you happiness, joy, prosperity, and good health!
These holidays are a time when we can look to the future with optimism and hope and make plans together with family, friends, and colleagues.
The year 2025 was an important milestone in strengthening relations between Mongolia and the United States, and we are confident that in 2026 this friendship will continue to develop through cultural exchanges and visits at various levels.
Next year, we will celebrate an important event—the 250th anniversary of the United States, which we call “America-250.” As part of this anniversary, we plan many events to celebrate not only the founding of our country but also the strategic partnership between the U.S. and Mongolia.
