Uchral Nyam-Osor emphasized that cooperation between Mongolia and the USA is based on shared values such as democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. He expressed confidence that high-level bilateral visits will continue, which will contribute to expanding political trust and cooperation in new areas, including artificial intelligence and renewable energy.
The speaker also noted the successes in implementing the Ulaanbaatar Water Supply Improvement Program, which is a symbol of effective cooperation between the two countries and is carried out under an agreement with the American Millennium Challenge Corporation.
As Ambassador Buangan noted, he intends to deepen trade and economic cooperation and strengthen ties between the peoples, placing great importance on interaction between the US Congress and the Parliament of Mongolia.
In conclusion of the meeting, Speaker Uchral Nyam-Osor expressed hope for further cooperation in education, particularly with an increase in the number of English language teachers from the USA, including Peace Corps volunteers.
Additionally, he reported that the Parliament is working on creating a legal framework for implementing public-private partnerships.
