This high honor was awarded to Enkhbat Batnyam by the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) in recognition of his significant contribution to the development of relations in the fields of tourism and air transportation between Mongolia and South Korea. It also signifies the promotion of closer interaction between the residents of the two capitals.
According to information from the SMG, Batnyam has been actively facilitating stable air transportation between both countries for a long time, improving the quality of passenger service and supporting bilateral tourist exchanges.
At the award ceremony, Enkhbat noted: “This high award is not only my achievement but also the result of the work of the entire MIAT team, as well as a symbol of friendship between our peoples. I intend to continue efforts to expand cooperation and create new opportunities for travel between Mongolia and Korea.”
The awarding of the title of "Honorary Citizen" to Mr. Batnyam highlights the growing recognition of Mongolia and the further development of bilateral relations.
