Nicolás Maduro, the president of Venezuela, is accused of organizing narco-terrorism and importing cocaine. Additionally, he is charged with crimes related to the possession of firearms and explosives, as well as conspiracy to store them against the United States.
Pam Bondi noted: “Soon they will answer to American justice on U.S. soil in the appropriate courts.”
It is worth reminding that in 2020, the U.S. Department of Justice had already brought similar charges against Maduro related to narco-terrorism, for which the maximum penalty is life imprisonment.
