The operation of methane gas stations is now limited to a temporary schedule, functioning from 10 AM to 4 PM.
This decision is related to the need to reduce pressure in the main gas pipelines, which required urgent measures to be taken. The ministry emphasized the importance of stable natural gas supply for both households and social infrastructure facilities.
“The operation of methane stations is coordinated with local authorities depending on the current situation with gas supply, pressure levels, and consumption volumes. This measure is aimed at the rational use of gas resources and ensuring the stability of supplies,” the Ministry noted.
The agency also added that these measures are temporary and necessary. Currently, work is ongoing to normalize pressure in the gas system.
Previously, in December 2025, restrictions on the operation of gas stations were already introduced, and the round-the-clock operation was restored on December 30.
