The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will soon meet again with the President of the United States, Donald Trump. This was stated by the new U.S. Ambassador, Julie Staaf, during the ceremony of presenting her credentials, as reported by "Kazinform".

Staaf noted that the U.S. was the first to recognize Kazakhstan's independence, and that cooperation between the two countries has now reached a record level. "Today, our relations are at the highest level in their entire history," she emphasized.

The ambassador also mentioned the diversity of areas of interaction between the U.S. and Kazakhstan, including cultural exchanges and trade-economic ties.

According to Staaf, "Presidents Tokayev and Trump maintain a close dialogue and communicate regularly. Tokayev visited Washington in November, they recently had a new conversation, and he will soon travel to the U.S. again. We sincerely hope for further dynamic development of these relations," she added.

During the ceremony of presenting credentials to the Bulgarian ambassador, Georgi Vodeniski, Tokayev expressed Kazakhstan's interest in deepening bilateral ties. "We will work on expanding our cooperation in both the political and economic spheres," he stated.
