Timchenko noted that residents of Ukraine have access to electricity for only 3-4 hours, followed by a long break lasting 10-15 hours, while many apartment buildings remain without heating for several weeks.
The CEO of DTEK also reported that the company has lost 60-70% of its production capacity, resulting in losses amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars. Restoring the energy infrastructure will require investments of 65-70 billion dollars and will often involve the need to create new assets.
Timchenko emphasized that this is not just about restoring the existing system, but about creating a new energy structure in Ukraine.
