
A total of 78 foreigners from 12 countries have been expelled from Mongolia. This is reported by MiddleAsianNews.
The Immigration Agency of Mongolia reports that in January 2026, 78 foreigners from 12 countries were deported. The ban on re-entry into Mongolia ranges from 3 to 5 years. The distribution by country is as follows: 53 from China, 11 from Russia, 3 from Uzbekistan, 2 from Vietnam, 2 from Kyrgyzstan, and 7 from other countries.
The authorities noted that the reasons for expulsion included various factors, such as: violations of visa or residence permit validity, working without proper permits, engaging in activities inconsistent with the declared purpose of entry, as well as cases where foreigners had served sentences for crimes.
Last year, 1,222 foreign citizens were expelled from Mongolia, which is 41.4% higher than the previous year's figures.

Extradition: According to information provided by the Investigative Department of the Criminal Police Service, a Chinese citizen (M.Y.), wanted for fraud, was extradited to China after his residence permit in Mongolia was revoked.
