Elvira Azimova noted that the published draft of the Basic Law, available for public discussion on the eGov and e-Otinish platforms, has received over 4,000 responses from citizens. The majority of the feedback is positive, emphasizing that the draft addresses current challenges and the interests of society. Political parties and various public associations at both the republican and regional levels have also expressed support for the new Basic Law.
The President emphasized the importance of continuing the work of the Constitutional Commission in an open format, which allows the population to follow the discussions and familiarize themselves with the draft in detail. He also instructed to thoroughly analyze all proposals received from experts and citizens.
In addition, Azimova reported on the commission's plans to continue working on editing specific articles and points of the new Constitution. The next meetings of the commission are scheduled for February 7 and the following week.
