According to the agency, the incident occurred around 11:00 local time in the Kapyeong area, located in Gyeonggi Province.
Official sources reported that there were no fires or explosions recorded as a result of the helicopter's crash.
The Cobra AH-1S helicopter, which belonged to the 15th Aviation Battalion of the Ground Forces, was conducting a scheduled training flight. There were two warrant officers on board.
