
This decision fully complies with the requirements of the Law on Public Debt and key strategic documents such as the Medium-Term Fiscal Policy, Economic Development Policy, Energy Development Plan, as well as the Technical and Economic Justification and Environmental Impact Assessment.
The construction will be carried out under the Law on Public-Private Partnerships using the "Design, Build, Operate and Transfer" model. This project is recognized as key to creating a sustainable, reliable, and environmentally friendly energy infrastructure in the country.
After the commissioning of CHPP-5, the following can be expected:
- stabilization of energy supply for the capital;
- formation of a reliable energy source for the western administrative district;
- reduction of the load on existing thermal power plants;
- increased reliability and stability of electrical networks.
After the launch of the new facility, about 100,000 households will receive electricity, and more than 40,000 households will receive thermal energy.
During the construction process, 1,600 temporary jobs will be created, and after the completion of the work, more than 370 permanent vacancies will be available.
