
At the Open Masters Games in the capital of the UAE, Mongolian veterans of volleyball and basketball demonstrated outstanding results.
As previously reported, from February 6 to 15, Abu Dhabi hosted the Open Masters Games — the largest multi-sport event in the Middle East, gathering over 25,000 participants from 92 countries competing in 38 disciplines without age or qualification restrictions.
In the men's volleyball tournament, the Mongolia team in the over 55 age category won the gold medal, taking first place. The second position went to the Nomad team, and the third to a team from Kazakhstan.
The Mongolian women's team also excelled, winning gold in the over 50 age category.
In the women's basketball tournament, the Mongolia89 team brought home a bronze medal in the over 45 age category. The first two places were taken by teams from the Czech Republic and Russia, respectively.
The Mongolian men's basketball team also achieved success, winning gold in the over 45 age category, as well as silver in the tournament for teams over 45 years old, where the first place was taken by a team from Moscow, and third place by WINGS UAE from the UAE.
Meanwhile, the Mongolian women's team Happy89 in the over 55 age category also won a gold medal.
