
As the ambassador noted, this event can be seen as a very encouraging sign. He emphasized that the Russian language will not only retain its place in Kazakhstan but may also gain even greater recognition both within the CIS and on the international stage, thanks to the country's initiatives.
Borodavkin also reminded about the proposal from Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to create an International Organization for the Russian Language. The diplomat added that events are planned soon to help launch its activities.
